Repeat Offender: Orange Blazer

There goes that orange blazer again. Yeah , i'm guilty of wearing this 50 million times. But i'm not one to purchase new items just for the sake of taking a photo for my blog. There's nothing wrong with going shopping and getting all excited to style your items, but I actually like the task of using what I have already and making a new outfit of it, or try to at least. Lets face it, if I were to purchase a new outfit all the time, i'd be broke with no lattes. So the trick : mix something new with the old.

Four different looks with my very old oranger blazer.

Phillip Lim for Target

Target has been really stepping it up lately with their designer collaborations. We saw how Missoni, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung teamed up with the bulls eye giant and now we'll have 3:1 Phillip Lim added to the amazing list. This collection will launch Septemeber 15th, 2013. Exciting!

Evolving your fall wardrobe just got a whole lot easier. Target has collaborated with designer Phillip Lim on an exclusive collection for women and men. Available Sept. 15 at most Target stores in the U.S. and Canada, and at Target.com, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target features a range of apparel and accessories, including shoes, bags and travel accessories.
Since an early age, I’ve been intrigued by the idea of design evolution,” says Lim. “One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire—one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible.”
3.1 Phillip Lim for Target embodies Lim’s philosophy that clothing is meant to refine, not define. Rooted in a classic fall palette of neutral tones and prints, the collection features more than 100 items and ranges in price from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories. Standout pieces include a trench coat for women and a leather moto jacket for men.
“Phillip is a designer we’ve had our eye on for years,” says Trish Adams, senior vice president, Merchandising. “His aesthetic is modern and sophisticated, and he shares Target’s vision of democratizing design.”
Since the debut of the 3.1 Phillip Lim label, which he cofounded with friend and fabric supplier Wen Zhou, in 2005 at New York Fashion Week, Lim’s designs have received praise from editors, celebrities and critics for their easy, chic and youthful elegance. Throughout the years, Lim has won many notable awards and developed a following of notable celebrity supporters, including Kate Hudson, Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley.

Prabal Gurung For Target

This magical buzz started back in october 2012, when Target annouced their collaboration with Prabal Gurung. Fast forward a few months later and we get the fastest "SOLD OUT" collection ever; well in my opinion. This collection launched February 10th 2013 and so far every fashionable chica has instagramed their treasure hunt. I have yet to go..wah! But when I do, I hope there is something still left for me.

Per Prabal Gurung, this collection was inspired by "LOVE" . I will feel that "LOVE" once a few pieces end up in my closet oxox

“I am so thrilled to be working with Target on a collection that brings my designs to a wider audience,” said Prabal Gurung, designer. “This collection was inspired by love and if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
