I first learned about Poe in the 6th grade. I opened a poem book and read Annabel Lee. Since then i have been a big fan of poe. I have all his poems and stories. Poe also lived here in philly for a little bit in Spring Garden. It is believed where he lived in philly is inspiration for the "The Black Cat" and "Tell Tale Heart". There is awesome news, i've always wondered why there has never been a movie made about Poe, but now i am happy to say that a movie on Poe will be in production named "The Raven". The movie will star one of my lovely fave 80's actor John Cusack, it will take place during poe's last days as he is trying to solve some murder's based on his stories.
It will be based in Baltimore, but i am hoping some of Philadephia will be featured too, YAY!!! "The Raven" is set to be released in 2012. Can't wait. In honor of Halloween, poe and the movie, i made a few sets about Poe and also featuring some other poly poe sets made by other members.

How to dress Poe-Chic:

Poe is the master of darkness and death, so wear black. Play with items in black with different texture and patterns. Wear over size sweaters with cut outs or tee's that have shredded details, either on the front or trims. Skirts with feathers or sequin would be cool to add that pop of surprise in all the blackness. A black Petticoat with layer would take you back to the style and urbane manner of the 1850's.

Clothes: Black, layered, texture, patterns, cut-outs, shredded
Skirts: Feather's (for the raven),sequin, leather or petticoat
Shoes: Boots, heels with lace, wedge boots with straps, buckles, studs, wedged mary janes

This is why i love autumn. I get to play around with fashion. Mix and Match textures, patterns and colors. I said this already somewhere, LOL. But many will think shorts are a no-no for the fall, but i love wearing leggings/tights under some denim shorts. Pair it up with some wedge booties and i am off to the wonderful world of pumpkin patches. I could of been the scarecrow too...dot dot dot dot.......lol. I could not find the right belt because after i got dressed i noticed the outfit was still missing something. The jacket came with a thin black belt, i took the belt and put it on my shorts instead, that added the finishing touch. I should of topped it all off with a bright deep red lipstick, but maybe next time.

My lovely Coach Gift Card came three weeks ago, but yesterday i finally got to use it..la la la la
I went to Cherry Hill Mall, oh my that mall is yummy...i see poly's sets come to life..lol
Any how, I was not allowed to take photo's in the store, but i still took two. I was in heaven, and it was hard to pick from so many cool bags and patterns. But then fate stepped in and a yummy purple plaid bag jumped out to me and said "Hey Paint take me, take me" So i listened and sure enough i did. I had them wrap it up and place it in a lovely gift box for safe keeping. Can't wait to use it.

This is the winning set. I came in third place with votes on Facebook :) Thank you again to all who voted...oxoxo

Not so Regular!
Irregular Choice Shoes

Love the new designs this season. You know i LOVE this site and yummy shoes. Read my previous post here . And yes, i still want to live in their website. Either way, this season is full of coolness. Odd heels, funky patterns and "irregular" silhouettes has become the trade mark of this hip shoe heaven site.

Not So Regular!

“Integrity is the essence of everything successful.”

It's really a shame when someone pretends to be someone they are not. I dislike when someone also pretends to be creative, original and full of ideas, when indeed they are not. My tiny blogger has been around for less then two years, and what i noticed about other blogs is

Some people who are not original at all take other people's post/ideas.

Because my blog may not get the attention others get, some post thief may think no one will notice or bring it to my attention. While i do not let comments/praises from others make my day as others will, i remind true to myself and what i post and write about is truly who i am.
I do not go around blogs and copy/steal ideas. It is very dishonest to say you are original yet you steal posts and ideas from others. True, that may get you attention and get you to the top, but you will be very lonely there. Besides my post/ideas getting ripped off, my subjects are too...if i write about a company the copycat will research on it and pretend to have "loved" it too, WHATEVER. I'm sick of people like that, people who use others for self gain, people full of themselves, if they only knew it will somehow and ALWAYS be brought out into the light.
Being in business, having a blog, being an artist, or a writer is about Integrity and HONESTY

“Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.”

“Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.”

“No man can purchase his virtue too dear, for it is the only thing whose value must ever increase with the price it has cost us. Our integrity is never worth so much as when we have parted with our all to keep it.”

Life as we Know it!

Hey hey, it's been a while, but i am back full force..tehe and will be uploading my photos from Time Square soon, but this movie "Life as we know it" is too cute. It's funny, sad and very
sweet. I went to a special screening this past saturday , but you can see it this friday on October 8th, 2010. Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel play these two young , single professional's who are not in any way near marriage or family life. They both are faced with a life changing choice and along the way annoy each other..it's to funny. A the baby, who in real life is a triplet is so adorable, awwwwwww. A must see movie, great entertainment. So i give it FIVE CUPCAKES!
