 Lady In Red

I remember getting picked on in high school for the way I dressed. I remember all the names and
all the weird looks. But it never stopped me from being me. Even now as an adult I get those "eww what is she wearing looks" , but this is me. I am not dressing for attention, nor to be "different". This is how my mind works when I see clothing items, color and textures. To me it makes perfect sense and it is ok if others do not get it.  So if your getting picked on for what you wear or for who you are, don't let that get to you. Staying true to yourself is the best thing you can do. Now I just need to find high school photos and get rid of these roots...eekkkk!

Crayon Box: Light Blue

Once In a Blue Moon!
Once in a Blue Moon!

Once in a Blue Moon! by painthead featuring dannijo

Blue is such a calming color. It always brings me serenity and peace, especially when I sit in a blue waiting room at the Dr.'s office; the wait seems more pleasant..ah! I love how Blue can go with just about any other color. I also like to pair up my blue's with red, greens and oranges; blue pops out more againt these colors and these color combinations are known to awaken artistic expression.

But my question regarding BLUE is, Why isn't there any trees full of Blue leaves in the fall? A magical question i'll probably never get an answer to.

Speaking of BLUE, this lovely Light Blue Baroque dress from Romwe is one of my favorite rags in my closet. I know, I know baroque is now a thing of the fall, but I do not see myself getting rid of it anytime soon. Below are two looks of me wearing this dress..xoxo

This Fall i am loving the Baroque Trend. It's great to see an appreciation for fine arts and attention to details. When i attended FNO with Polyvore and Woolite; in the good bag was a gift card to Romwe. I knew right away i wanted this dress when i surfed their website, but it was SOLD OUT! I had to wait until it was back in stock. I thought there was no way i would ever get one considering it was a Hawt item, but TA-DA...i wished, purchased and now it has a new home with me. It's really beautiful, you get exaclty what you see. The colors pop and the details are gor'juss. What are your favorite baroque items?

Manish Arora Spring 2011

Have you ever seen a painting walking? Manish Arora's Spring 2011 collection is beyond words. "Futuristic Baroque" was the theme, it's as if the muse posing for a protrait just stepped out of the canvas and teleported to the 21st century. With dramatic details and exaggeration of the silhouette's , Arora captured the true essense of the Baroque era.
